  3. Check the Distance: Ensure DWARF II is within 5 meters of your device.
  4. Upload a Log:
    • Go to Settings > Support > Log Upload in the DWARFLAB app.
    • Fill in the required information and ensure your phone/tablet is connected to WiFi or cellular data before submitting.
    • Contact our support team at support@dwarflab.com after uploading the log.
  5. For Android Users:
    • Disable "Stay Connected" or similar features in your phone’s WiFi settings to prevent it from switching networks.
    • If prompted, select "No thanks" when asked to switch to another network.

If the app shows "Device Not Found" and there is no green bar for DWARF II:

  1. Reboot DWARF II and your device, then retry.
  2. If the issue persists, contact our support team for remote assistance. Let us know your laptop’s operating system (Windows or macOS) so we can provide further instructions.

1.3 Green Bar Appears but Connection Fails

If you see the green bar in the DWARFLAB app but still cannot connect:

  1. Check your phone’s WiFi list for DWARF II’s network name.
    • If DWARF’s WiFi is missing: Contact our support team for assistance.
    • If DWARF’s WiFi is visible: Connect using the password DWARF_12345678.

If you encounter errors such as "Bluetooth Communication Error" or "Connection Failed" (error codes 1000–1006):

  1. Reboot both your phone and DWARF II, then retry.
  2. Check your phone’s WiFi list for DWARF II’s network and attempt to connect manually.

1.5 Incorrect Password

If you see an "Incorrect Password" error:

  1. Use the "Forget Password" option in your phone’s WiFi settings.
  2. Reset DWARF II’s Bluetooth and WiFi password, then retry.

1.6 iPhone-Specific Issue: "Unable to Join the Network DWARF_XXX"

If this prompt appears on an iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset Network Settings.
  2. Retry the connection after resetting the network.

1.7 STA Mode Connection Problems

If you encounter errors like "STA Connection Failed, Error -9" or similar codes in STA mode:

  1. Ensure DWARF II is within the network WiFi range and the correct password is entered.
  2. If DWARF II is out of WiFi range, disable STA mode and connect directly.
  3. If using another hotspot, go to Settings > Connection Settings > STA Mode to repeat the connection process.

Additional Tips for STA Mode:

  • Use a 5GHz WiFi network for better performance (2.4GHz may cause lag).
  • Follow these steps if the connection still fails:
    1. Turn off WiFi Compatible ModeActivate WiFi at Startup, and Enable 2.4G in Settings > Connection Settings, then retry.
    2. Clear the cache for both your phone and the DWARFLAB app.
    3. Ensure the WiFi name and password are correct, and the signal is strong.
    4. Verify that your router supports "Station Mode" and no other devices are using the same IP address.
    5. Check if DWARF II’s MAC address is blocked in your router’s filter. If it is, remove it from the filter.
    6. Reduce the number of devices connected to the same router.
