1. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.
2. Open the App and tap Connect.
3. Find DWARF mini in the list and connect.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to complete activation and connection.

Activation requires an internet connection.

If your network environment has restrictions (such as a VPN), please turn off the VPN first and make sure your phone can access the internet normally for activation.

During the first connection, it may take a few seconds to establish the Wi-Fi connection—please be patient.

5. Lens Movement

• The DWARF mini uses a vertical arm design, allowing the lens to rotate 225° up and down.
• The base supports 360° horizontal rotation, making it easy to point the telescope in any direction in the sky.
• The device can be moved manually or controlled directly through the app.

6. Solar Observation and Filter Installation

1. Carefully remove the ND solar filter.
2. Properly attach the filter in front of the main lens.
3. Connect to the app and confirm that the filter is correctly recognized before imaging the Sun.

7. Tripod Installation

• The DWARF mini supports a standard 1/4 inch tripod mount.
• The DWARF mini is compatible with the official DWARFLAB tripod.

8. Battery and Charging

8.1 Charging Equipment & Interface

• Use a USB-C to USB-C charger supporting PD2.0/PD3.0 fast charging (12V/1.5A, 18W). The status indicator light shows the current charging status while the device is charging.

8.2 Charging Power

• Fast Charging: USB-C to USB-C cable (9V/12V).
  • Battery indicator flashes quickly, and a fast charge symbol appears in the app.
• Slow Charging: USB-A to USB-C cable (5V).
  • Battery indicator flashes slowly, and a slow charge symbol appears in the app.

8.3 Operating Environment

• Charge in temperatures between 0°C and 45°C (recommended operating range).

• The battery retains 80% capacity after 4 years of regular use (fully charged/discharged twice a week).
