1. How to Check Firmware and App Version

App Update
Check the App Store for available updates. The store will notify you if an update is available. -
Firmware Update
- Connect your DWARF II telescope to your phone/tablet.
- Open the DWARFLAB App and go to My Device > Firmware Version to check your current firmware version.
2. Tutorials
2.1 Firmware Update Tutorial for Versions V1.3.22 and Above
Before you start, note:
- Please ensure that your phone/tablet supports Bluetooth 4.0 & WiFi 5GHz, and keep VPN OFF.
- Please make sure that the DWARFLAB App is the latest version.
2.2 Firmware Update Tutorial for Versions Below V1.3.22
If your firmware version is below V1.3.22 and you haven’t updated it for a long time, you will need a computer to complete the update. Follow the appropriate tutorial based on your computer type. You can reach them via:

Schedule a video call, join their Facebook user group, or send a message via Messenger through their official Contact page .
3. Update Failed? Here's What to Do.
If you encounter issues updating your DWARF II firmware via the OTA method and get stuck at any step from 1 to 4, follow the steps below to resolve the problem:
Troubleshooting Steps

Clear Cache
Open the DWARFLAB App, go to Settings > Clear Cache, and then retry the upgrade. -
Reinstall the DWARFLAB App
Uninstall and reinstall the DWARFLAB App, then attempt the upgrade again. -
Restart Your DWARF II
Power off your DWARF II, wait for about 10 seconds, then restart and reconnect to your device. -
Use a Computer for Assistance
If the above steps fail, use your computer to run the upgrade assistance program for a final resolution.
